LP Album Home Decor Piece
Join Ed as he walks you through making a Mixed Media Home Decor piece out of an old LP album. You will use crackle paint, sand paste, and Ken Oliver's ColorBurst Powders to decorate the album. Then you'll finish up with lights and the clock mechanism (optional.)
Your $40 kit contains an LP album, Crackle Paste and/or Texture Sand Paste, Chibitronics lights, Pear Blossom Press battery pack, and optional clock mechanism.
To avoid shared supplies, while keeping the kit cost lower, you can bring your own ColorBurst (or ColorSparx) powders, buy them here at the store, or you can use our classroom ColorBurst Powders (we will supply rubber gloves.)
Students should bring a craft mat, palette knife, water spritz bottle (limited quantities for sale at the store,) paper towel and/or baby wipes.
Class size will be limited to 8 people to ensure safe social distancing. If possible, please plan on wearing a face mask during the class for the safety of all attendees.
